Henry C. Mercer

Henry C. Mercer (1856-1930) was an American archaeologist, anthropologist, and expert in early American tools and weapons. He founded the Bucks County Historical Society and the Mercer Museum, dedicated to preserving pre-industrial American materil culture. Mercer's research and collections have contributed significantly to the understanding of indigenous cultures and early American history.
