Holley MuracoDr. Holley Muraco is an animal scientist and research professor at Mississippi State University where she studies marine mammals and One Health. Her award-winning research on Pacific walrus was the focus of a full-length BBC Natural World nature docuentary called Walrus: Two Tonne Tusker. Dr. Muraco is a permitted wildlife rehabilitator for the state of Mississippi where she specializes in North American Beavers. She is also the founder and CEO for the nonprofit, Something Wild, which provides rescue, rehabilitation, research and release of native Mississippi wildlife.
