I DarwazehIzzat Darwazeh graduated with a Ph.D. from UMIST in 1991 for his studies on high-speed fibre receiver designs and FDDI systems before moving to the University of Wales at Bangor, working on multigigahertz fibre systems and MMIC design techniques.
