Ian ElliotIan Elliot was a renowned solar physicist and astronomist. He lectured on astrophysics in Trinity for many years. He was associate editor of the Irish Astronomical Journal, and published many articles and biographies, including in the Dictionary of Iish Biography and the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.
