Indu Kapoor
Dr. Indu Kapoor is an Additional Professor in the Department of Neuroanesthesiology and Neurocritical Care at AIIMS, New Delhi, India. She received her training in Neuroanesthesiology and Neurocritical care at the same institute. Recently, she comleted a PhD in Neuroanaesthesiology and Neurocritical care from AIIMS New Delhi India. She is the recipient of the Dr. T N JHA Memorial Award in 2009 for the best paper presentation, which was awarded by the Indian Society of Anesthesiologists (ISA) in Chennai, India. She has also received the SMT Chandra and SH Narayan Wadhwani Memorial Award for Best Outgoing Postgraduate in anesthesia at the University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi, in 2010. She was also the past Treasurer of the Society of Neurocritical Care (SNCC), first registered neurocritical care society in India. Dr. Kapoor has a special interest in evidence-based practice in neuroanesthesia. Additionally, she is a member of various national societies and has been an invited faculty member at various national conferences. Dr. Kapoor has written numerous chapters for various books published by national and international publishers. She has edited a number of books related to neuroanaesthesia and neurocritical care with renowned international publishers.
