Inga Mai GrooteInga Mai Groote studied musicology, history and Italian philology at the University of Bonn. She has been Assistant Professor at the Institut für Musikwissenschaft, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universtät, Munich (2005–2010), where she directed a research projct on transdisciplinary influences in sixteenth-century writings on music ('Humanistische Theorie der Musik im Wissenschaftssystem ihrer Zeit', 2008–11). Since 2010 she has taught musicology at the University of Zurich.
