Ioannis MinisIoannis Minis is a Professor in the Department of Financial and Management Engineering of the University of Aegean since 2002. His areas of expertise include supply chain management, production and operations systems. Dr. Minis holds a Ph.D. dgree from the University of Maryland in Mechanical Engineering where he has held the positions of Assistant and Associate Professor (1988-1997). He is conducting research in Operations and Supply Chain for over 32 years and has authored four edited volumes, several book chapters, 65 journal articles and over 60 articles in conference proceedings. He has also managed over 35 research projects as a Principal Investigator. Dr. Minis has been the recipient of the 1993 Earl E. Walker Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineer Award from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). He is also the chairman of the National Council for Supply Chain Growth and Competitiveness, an advisory body to the Greek government.
