Irene WittigIrene Wittig was born in Rome, lived in Argentina and Austria before arriving in the US when she was seven. She grew up in New York, went to the High School of Music and Art and City College; studied in Germany on a Fulbright, later lived in Italy fo almost five years, and much later Switzerland for six. She and her husband now live in Arlington, Va. They have two children and four grandchildren. She likes to create characters one cares about. These can fall into different genres.
