Irma Gold
Irma Gold is an award-winning writer and editor. Her debut novel, The Breaking, was critically acclaimed and won a Canberra Critics Circle Award. Her short stories have been widely published in anthologies and journals like Meanji, Island, Westerly and Going Down Swinging, and her acclaimed collection of short fiction is Two Steps Forward. Irma is also the author of five children’s books. Megumi and the Bear was her first title with Walker Books Australia. Irma is Ambassador for the ACT Chief Minister’s Reading Challenge and for Thailand’s Save Elephant Foundation.
