Isabelle Larouche
Born in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Isabelle Larouche fell into a well of stories when she was still young. Since then, she has woven tales nourished by her numerous travels and inspiring encounters. Her bibliography includes about frty novels, illustrated children's books, and short stories. A specialized teacher in French as a second language, she worked for many years in Indigenous communities in Quebec (Inuit and Mohawk), in Kingston, Ontario, and in Westmount. She gives lectures and conducts writing workshops in various Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities across the country.
