Raised on Asimov, Card, Salvatore, Clarke, and so many others, J.D.'s childhood was full of science fiction, spaceships, swords, and family. He got sidetracked from writing by having to work for a living. Several years later, and lots of work late, he has decided to to set aside some of that personal time and re-create those worlds that were in his mind when naively climbing trees at Vanderbilt.
