J David IrwinJ. David Irwin is professor and department head emeritus in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Auburn University. He is the author or co-author of ten textbooks and has served as president of two technical societies and editor-i chief of an international scientific journal. He is the recipient of numerous education, professional, and technical awards, including the James H. Mulligan, Jr. Education Medal given by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
