J Fred SingletonFred Singleton taught history in the White Plains (NY) school system for thirty-six years. In 2003 he found what he thought was an omission in the Twentieth Amendment, the flaw leading to the writing of this novel. In addition to teaching, Fred has ben a cross country and track coach at White Plains High School for forty years. He is the meet director of the Glenn D. Loucks Games, a major high school track meet held annually in White Plains. A track star at Mount Vernon High School, Fred was the national champion in two hurdle races. He later captained the Penn State track team. Fred is married to his wife Margo and is the father of his daughter Amanda.
