J.E. Thomas grew up in Yorkshire and now lives in Wales. Her grandmother would make up stories, which fuelled in her a lifelong love of reading and for creating stories of her own. She worked as a teacher for many years before retring to write and illustrate MANDY: THE VERY quiet SHREW, her first book.
