Jackie BarbosaJackie Barbosa always wanted to be a writer, but she took a few detours on the road to publication, including a stint in academia (she holds an MA in classics from the University of Chicago and was a Mellon Fellowship recipient) and many years as a tchnical writer/instructional designer for a data processing company.

She still holds her day job in instructional design, but her true passion is writing steamy romances-both historical and contemporary. Her short stories and novellas have been published by Cobblestone Press, Kensington Books and now Harlequin Books.
