Jackie MurrayJackie Murray is Associate Professor of Classics at SUNY University at Buffalo. She has published numerous articles on Hellenistic poetry and race and classics. Her monograph, Apollonius of Rhodes and the Poetics of Controversy is forthcoming with Deruyter/Brill and her second monograph Becoming the Ibis: Apollonius and Callimachus and dynamics of Allusion and Reception is under contract with Harvard University Press.
