She photographedand illustrated each of the mineral springs in Saratoga Springs and Ballston Spa which are still running or were running within the past few years and are accessible to the public. She decided to illustrate the mineral springs in Saratoga Springs and Ballston Spa to help draw attention to the need to preserve the springs. To help preserve the majority of the springs, which are in Saratoga Spa State Park, ten percent of the profits from this book will be donated to the Friends of Saratoga Spa State Park.
