With a unique perspective on the experience and telling the stories of youth that are more likely to be in contact with the cout system, who are disproportionately impacted by poverty, a lack of resources, and who live in food deserts, Jaffee is bringing to light these experiences to the world. Jaffee Judah's work is inspired by his own incarceration and dedication to rehabilitating and inspiring our youth in the juvenile detention systems. Jaffee developed what would become "Live Hungry Die Starving" while serving a prison sentence on multiple charges at the age of 15.
