Jagdish Chander DagarDr Dagar is well recognized for his research in agroforestry, reclamation ecology, and management of salt-affected and waterlogged soils, judicious utilization of saline waters in agriculture, ecology of halophytes including mangroves, biodiversity, nd climate change. He has written several books and published more than 250 research papers of high repute in international and national journals, proceedings of symposia, and chapters in books. Recognizing the research contributions, Dr Dagar has been conferred with several awards and honors and Fellowships of many professional Societies including Fellow of National Academy of Agricultural Sciences; and has been consulting several national and international agencies such as FAO, CIMMYT and Forest Department.
