For more than 10 years he served as police psychologist and director of the Psychological Services Unit of the Fort Worth Police Department. Prior to his retirement, he developed, orgnized, trained, and supervised the department�s Peer Support Team. He has trained peer teams for other police agencies and for the federal government, including the United States Border Patrol. In practice for 40 years, he served as a police officer for more than 30 years. He is certified as a Master Peace Officer, as a Mental Health Peace Officer, and as a Forensic Hypnotist by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education.
