James MurroughI am Professor of Psychiatry and Neuroscience, Vice Chair for Clinical Research in Psychiatry, and Director of the Depression and Anxiety Center for Discovery and Treatment (DAC) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS). My program of rsearch utilizes molecular, neuroimaging, and experimental therapeutics approaches aimed at elucidating the fundamental mechanisms underlying stress-related disorders in humans, including major depressive disorder (MDD), posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and anxiety disorders.
