His 40 years of teaching experience includes San Francisco State University College of Business, California State University,Stanislaus, Southern Oregon College, Oregon State University, and the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing. Both domestically and internationally, Dr. Southam has participated in business ventures, served as a business consultant, and is a successful author. In addition, he is a member of the San Francisco State University Athletics Hall of Fame.
