Jan Pierson

The author, Jan Pierson, is a mystery to all who know him. Born into an accomplished academic family, he has gone his own way, exploring the facts as he learned them while weaving them into a larger tapestry of his particular time. He makes no judment on the doings of the people of this book nor on the facticity of what he claimed to learn. Rather, understandably, he closes his eyes to the moral judgments that might be made.
