She is editor in chief of the award-winning JancisRobinson.com and writes weekly for the Financial Times. In addiion to co-authoring The World Atlas of Wine since its 5th edition, she is founding editor of The Oxford Companion to Wine, and co-author of Wine Grapes. Jancis was the first person outside the wine trade to qualify as a Master of Wine, in 1984. She was awarded an OBE in 2003, France's Officier du Mérite Agricole and the German VDP's highest honour in 2016, and has six James Beard Awards.
