Janet GilsdorfJanet Gilsdorf is professor emerita in pediatrics and epidemiology at the University of Michigan and teaches in the University of Michigan Medical School's Medical Humanities Pathway. Her memoir Inside/Outside: A Physician's Journey with Breast Cance was published in 2006 by the University of Michigan Press, and her novel Ten Days, was published in 2012 by Kensington Books. Her non-fiction book, Continual Raving: The Story of Meningitis and The People Who Conquered It, was published by Oxford University Press in 2019, and her novel Fever was published by Beaufort Books in 2022.
