Janet RaicheAuthor, Janet Raiche, lives in Marin County, California, where she teaches elementary school. She grew up in Newport, Rhode Island and spent her summers at the beach and exploring the coastline. She moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in her early thrties and has been there since.
