During school holidays you would have frequently found her lying under the African sun, lily white skin coated in coconut oil - yes it was the eighties - snarffing down chocolate, and with her nose buried i a Van Lustbader novel stolen from her parents' bookshelf. She was born in South Africa in the seventies. Throughout her childhood she devoured books like a great white shark does hapless sardines and was frequently accused of being anti-social as a result. In 2002 they migrated to Australia where Janet registered and worked as a psychologist and they later had two children. In 2015, after five years of writing and countless revisions, Janet completed her paranormal trilogy, The Last Anakim, which includes three novel-length instalments, Awakening, Odyssey and Ascension.
