JANETTE ELLISJanette Ellis is an avid reader, writer, and a natural-born editor. Once she learned to read, she would read anything she could get her hands on. Most kids will only read the back of the cereal box; Janette would read that, the nutrition panel, and te ingredients list! As far back as elementary school, she found errors in books, and when asked what she wanted to do when she grew up, she would respond, "Get paid to read books and fix the mistakes." She earned her undergraduate degree in Music, violin performance from Spelman College, and went on to attain Book Editor certification from the International Association of Professions Career College (IAP Career College). She is a freelance editor, and she and her sister, Joi Adams, have formed Sister Sister Publishing.
