Janie LideyJanie Lidey is a speaker, author and Emmy Award winning composer who dedicated herself to teaching music in the public schools of Alaska for 26 years. She started out teaching music in remote, fly-in only villages and in 2011, after 17 years as choirdirector and guitar teacher at Grammy Award winning East High School, Janie took a leap of faith, stepped out of the safety and comfort of one school and made the world her classroom.
