Jarrod Draper

A proud Wiradjuri man, Jarrod Draper was born in Orange and the first Indigenous graduate from the prestigious music theatre course at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Most recently starring as Toulouse Lautrec in the Ton Award winning Moulin Rouge The Musical (Global Creatures), Jarrod was an original Australian Cast member, understudying the lead roles of Christian and Lautrec before being promoted to take over the role of Toulouse Lautrec as the first indigenous artist to play the role anywhere in the world.
