Jason H. GoodfriendMathematics has always been integral to Dr. Goodfriend’s career; both in and out of the classroom. He began teaching mathematics courses as an adjunct professor in 1988. While completing his PhD at the University of Virginia, he received a Graduate Taching Assistant award for excellence in teaching. He has most recently taught mathematics courses at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Goodfriend has often applied mathematics to his projects in both industry and government. He is currently employed at the U.S. Department of Transporation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics, where he conducts statistical and economic analyses of the airline industry.
