The new musical, which is inspired by true events taking place in Denmark during WWII, was a Finalist for the Pipeline Arts Foundation and Vanguard Arts Fund at Olney Theatre Center, a two-time Semi-Finalist for the National Music Theater Conference at the O'Neill, and had a staged reading at JCC Manhattan and one at Safra Hall with TONY winner Debbie Gravitte. In May 2026, there will be a full production at JCC CenterStage in Rochester. Jason was the winner of the Hudson Valley Writers Workshop contest and a Finalist for the McKnight National Residency and Commission. His plays for students include MAKE 'EM LAUGH (over 30 high school and college productions, published by Uproar Theatrics) and two upcoming titles, MITZVAH CRASHERS and SWEET 16 CRASHERS (published by Uproar Theatrics).
