Jaunius GumbisDr Jaunius Gumbis was born in 1968 in Kaisiadorys, Lithuania. In 1993, he graduated from Vilnius University (Lithuania) with a Master's Degree in Law. Subsequently, he completed his doctoral studies at the same university and was granted the Dctor's Degree in 2002. Dr Jaunius Gumbis also studied at the Academy of American and International Law in Dallas, USA (1993); the International Institute of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France (1994) and Jean Moulin University, Lyon, France (1995). In 1997 Dr Jaunius Gumbis was admitted to the Lithuanian Bar and was licensed to practice as an advocate. Currently, Dr Jaunius Gumbis is a partner and the head of the Industry and Regulatory Practice Group at the law firm LAWIN Lideika, Petrauskas, Valiunas ir partneriai. His main areas of practice are: competition, energy and utilities, communications, pharmacy, agency and distribution law.
