Jayachandran VenkatesanDr. Jayachandran Venkatesan M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D. is an assistant professor in Yenepoya Research Centre (YRC), Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), India. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Division of Bioengineering, Incheon National Univesity, and Hanyang University, South Korea. Previously, he worked as a Research Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Marine Bioprocess Research Center (MBPRC) at Pukyong National University, South Korea. He received his Master of Science in chemistry from Thiruvalluvar University in 2005. Further, He received his Ph.D. from Pukyong National University in 2011. His primary research interests are the investigation and development of naturally derived polymers, ceramics, and protein-based materials for biomedical applications.
