Jeanine LeaneJeanine Leane is a Wiradjuri novelist and poet from the Murrumbidgee River near Gundagai. In 2010, the manuscript for her first novel, Purple Threads, won the David Unaipon Award for an unpublished Indigenous writer and her first volume of petry, Dark Secrets After Dreaming, won the Scanlon Prize for Indigenous poetry.
