Jelena Mihaljevic Djigunovic

Jelena Mihaljevic Djigunovic held the post of Professor of SLA and TEFL at Zagreb University until she retired in 2014. Her main research interest has been teaching modern languages to young learners. She has been involved in a number of arge scale national and international research projects on L2 learning and teaching, the latest one being the Early Language Learning in Europe (ELLiE). She is the author of two research books on affective factors, a co-author of several sets of teaching materials, and has (co)edited nine research volumes. Her publications also include over 130 papers and book chapters.
