'What Is Kindness' is only exemplifying a snippet of how to be kind and aims to start a conversation about kindness and the actions behind it. During my time an active arly Childhood Educator, I saw first hand how easily kindness comes to toddlers and children. But it's equally easy to accidentally influence a child into the easier and less intrinsic loop of "playing nice". Children want to be kind and they want to receive kindness and I think it's important to nurture their kindness. Lastly, you may notice some 'big words' sprinkled into my story and think, "My child won't understand this word!". Kids are complete sponges and you'll be absolutely surprised to hear them using words you didn't know yourself! If your child asks for a definition, tell them!
