Jennifer GlassmanJennifer Glassman is a passionate advocate for the preservation of wild Mustangs, horses, and donkeys, whose writing and photography not only highlight their beauty but also brings awareness to the inhumane treatment many of these animals face. Throuh her photography and her nonprofit organization, @3rdcoastsanctuary, Glassman aims to protect these sentient beings from brutal practices such as illegal roundups, poor treatment in Government holding facilities, and the heart-wrenching reality of being shipped across international borders for slaughter.A portion of the proceeds from Glassman's photography sales, as well as book sales, is directed toward her sanctuary, which offers a safe haven for Mustangs, horses, and donkeys that have been rescued from life-threatening situations. This sanctuary focuses on rehabilitating animals that have faced abuse or neglect and works to prevent their tragic fate in the illegal horse meat trade-a practice that involves shipping horses to foreign countries for slaughter. This issue is particularly urgent as tens of thousands of American horses are shipped each year to places like Canada and Mexico, where animal welfare standards can be far less regulated. With her Mustang-focused photography, Glassman seeks to raise awareness about this crisis and galvanize public support for protecting these animals. She joins a growing movement that calls for the end of such practices and for stronger legislation to protect American horses from being exploited for slaughter. Through her imagery, nonprofit work, and advocacy, Glassman strives to ensure that future generations will be able to witness these majestic creatures thriving in the wild, free from the threat of inhumane treatment. Glassman's career spans over 25 years in entertainment industry marketing, publicity, and event production, where she has led campaigns for both commercial and charitable causes. For the last 14 years, she has focused on Mustang Advocacy through her fine art photography, hands-on sanctuary care of her rescued herd, and writing books. Glassman lives with her husband in Metamora, Michigan, with their 28 rescued Mustangs, Horses, Donkeys, Dogs and Cats. All proceeds from this book will go to #feedtheherd @3rdcoastsanctuary Read More Read Less
