Born in Boston, raised in Worcester and then in Marblehead, Johnson graduated from the University of New Hampshire before beginning her career in television. Alongide her longtime partner Billy Costa, she serves as co-host of NESN's Dining Playbook, Meet Boston with Billy and Jenny, and WBZ's weekly radio program "Food for Thought." Johnson is also the host of Comcast Newsmakers where she interviews policymakers and other prominent New Englanders. Deeply involved in the community, Johnson serves on the board or advisory boards of Mass General Cancer Center, the Massachusetts Restaurant Association, and Camp Harborview.
