Jenny Stuber

Dr. Jenny Stuber is a professor of Sociology at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. She is an award-winning teacher, with more tan 20 years of experience in the classroom. Her classroom is a dynamic space, where students discover the intellectual and professional power of sociology. She has also led students on numerous study abroad trips and has been recognized as a committed mentor of student research. Her research focuses on the cultural dimensions of socioeconomic inequality, with a particular emphasis on how social class is understood, enacted, and transformed within settings like schools and communities. Stuber has published numerous books and articles focusing on various dimensions of inequality, identity, and difference, as well as several sociology textbooks.
