Jerimy DesJerimy Des grew up in Joliet, IL, with big dreams and a desire to make a meaningful impact. While attending night school during his Active Duty service, he carefully planned to retire as a Military Officer. However, injuries changed his path, leavinghim uncertain about the future. Despite holding a stable job, he felt a deep emptiness, which he believed wouldn't have eased even if he had become an officer. After being fired from his job and living out of his car, he faced a tough choice: risk homelessness and addiction or find a new purpose and start a fresh venture. In 2016, he moved to California, wrote a movie, and aimed to sell it. As he charted his new path, he faced intense internal and external struggles, leading him to realize that a greater force was at work-something only the Universe could reveal through his awareness and subconscious actions. His questions included: Why do humans often thrive on conflict? Why can't we break the hold that racism, hate, and other negative emotions have on us? And if he had been born into a different life-perhaps as a sheltered kid who later becomes an Ivy League lawyer or engineer-why would these same negative emotions be at play?
