Jesse TubbsJesse Tubbs is a 1964 graduate of Scottsboro High School. He studied at Florence State College, and Calhoun Technical School. Jesse was converted by his wife Vicki, who always had a strong faith and this influence helped to involve them in personal eangelism and eventually led Jesse to preach. They enrolled at International Bible College, where they had opportunities for mission trips which lit a fire for foreign mission work. Jesse and Vicki became resident missionaries in Trinidad in 1977. He taught in the Trinidad school of preaching; then he and Vicki taught Bible studies in homes and village gatherings. He preached for numerous churches of Christ in Mississippi and Alabama. He continued to do bi-vocational and interim ministry for several churches while working in sales and contracting. For the last 30 plus years Vicki and Jesse have been members of the Madison church of Christ, where he served as an elder for 14 years. They have one daughter and two grandchildren.
