Jessica MarloweDuring the summer when I was seven, I broke my arm. Now being seven and down an arm is bad enough but losing out on summer was even worse. During this time, I wrote my first piece of writing outside of homework, a poem. It was about the wind, fit on ne small piece of paper, and I still have it. It's cleverly titled The Wind. Well, I didn't actually write it because my arm was in a cast, so my mom wrote it down for me. Little did I know this would be the beginning of my writing career.
