Jette Christensen
Born in Denmark, Jette migrated to Kenya in 1950, an unbelievable haven for her. At the age of 18, Jette went to university in England and to her surprise, she discovered that the world did not understand or appreciate Kenya’s tribal people, naturl environment or brilliant wildlife.
Jette always wanted to share the secret of paradise here on Earth that, as she says “I was lucky to explore and love.” Her love for this part of the world, Kenya, is the founding stone in writing “But one heartbeat away” for the world to discover Kenya’s hidden gems, meet the friendly tribes, admire the incredible scenery and fall in love with the outstanding wildlife.
Jette says, “Believe me, it is a country unlike any other with natives who have hearts of gold. This novel turned a dream into reality for me, I hope it does likewise for you.”
Jette lives in Sydney, NSW.
