Jihong YuProfessor Jihong Yu is from the State Key Laboratory of Inorganic Synthesis and Preparative Chemistry, Jilin University, China, and is the director of International Center of Future Science, Jilin University. She received her BS (1989), MS (1992), an PhD (1995) from Jilin University, and worked as a postdoctoral fellow first at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and then at Tohoku University in Japan during 1996-1998. She has been a full Professor in the Chemistry Department, Jilin University since 1999. She was elected as the Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2015, the Fellow of TWAS in 2016, the Member of Academia Europaea in 2019, and the foreign member of Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in 2021.
