Jim BentleyJim was born into a military family with parents originating from the heartland, but, while on active duty, was continually reassigned to U.S. Navy coastal port areas. He was, as a result, widely traveled, educated, and exposed to diverse cultures though college. Thereafter, he joined the Navy and occupied many duty stations, including a tour in Vietnam. After military service, he worked for 33 years in the School Child Nutrition Program of Escambia County (Pensacola), Florida, where he still resides to this day.
