Jim DavidA former National Biology Teacher of the Year, Jim David served for 27 years as a secondary math/science teacher and supervisor in the public school system. An environmentalist with a passion for the outdoors, he founded the Resource Center for Envirnmental Education (now called Willow Bend Environmental Education Center) in Flagstaff, Arizona. He has assisted the U.S. Geological Survey with endangered species projects in the Grand Canyon and spent twenty summers safely guiding patrons through its majestic corridors via the Colorado River. His long-standing love affair with the canyon continues to this day. He is an avid hunter, skier, archer, cyclist, and storyteller.
