Jinbong KimJinbong Kim, the coordinator of KGMLF, proposed its establishment in 2008, and currently serves as the managing director of the umbrella organization, the Global Mission Leadership Forum. He developed a new model for an international mission forum deigned to enhance understanding between Western (Global) and Korean missionaries--an issue he had contemplated for an extended period. Since 1990, after several years of missionary work in the Muslim regions of West Africa, Kim took a sabbatical in 2006 at the Overseas Ministries Study Center (OMSC) in New Haven, Connecticut, where he began his tenure as a host before advancing to the role of director of International Church Relations.
