Jitendra KumarDr. Jitendra Kumar (Ph.D., Biomedical Engineering) is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at B.V. Raju Institute of Technology, Narsapur (Hyderabad). He earned his doctoral degree in Biomedical Engieering from the National Institute of Technology Raipur, India, in 2024, with his thesis focused on the Design and Analysis of Bio-inspired Porous Based Hip Implant Component. He holds an M.Tech. in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from VIT Pune (2011), a B.E. in Biomedical Engineering from NIT Raipur (2007), and a PGDMM in Material Management from Annamalai University (2019). With more than eight years of academic and industry experience, including roles as Biomedical Engineer under the National Health Mission and Assistant Professor at CSVTU Bhilai and SSTC Bhilai, His research expertise in finite element analysis, orthopaedic implants, 3D printing, porous scaffold design, computational fluid dynamics, biomaterials, tissue engineering, and biomedical signal processing. His research contributions include several peer-reviewed journal publications, conference papers, and three patents filed/granted in the domain of biomedical implants and medical devices. He is proficient in advanced computational and experimental tools such as ANSYS (Structural & CFD), MATLAB, Materialise Mimics, 3D Printing, SEM, TEM, and Micro-FTIR. Dr. Kumar is a lifetime member of the Biomedical Engineering Society of India (LM-1535) and has actively participated in specialized training programs on organ printing, biomaterials, and advanced microscopy techniques.
