Joan NyikaJoan Nyika holds a PhD in Science, Engineering, and Technology from the University of South Africa and an MSc. in Land and Water Management from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. Currently, she is a lecturer at the Technical University of Kenya and apostdoctoral research fellow at the University of Johannesburg. In her research work, she specializes in hydrobiogeochemistry and has published more than 40 journal articles and book chapters in the discipline.
